ATP is one of Canada’s leading performing arts organizations and is committed to Celebrating Creativity, Advancing Innovation, and Building Capacity through the successful delivery of our three pillars of programming. Producing a season of award-winning theatre from across Canada and around the globe for the enjoyment of Calgary audiences! The development of new Canadian plays and Canadian playwriting talent through the Enbridge playRites Festival of New Canadian Plays! And of course, our third pillar of programming LEGACY (lifelong Education and Growth for Artists, Community, and Youth) Program. Our individual philanthropic programs, The Green Room, and The Director’s Circle offers the ATP audience to get up close and personal with the inner workings at ATP. Depending on the level of giving you may find yourself at a first rehearsal and read through of a play, or having conversations with ATP artists at one of our exclusive events in The Director’s Circle Membership.

While 58% of our expenses go directly to nourishing our programming priorities, ticket sales cover only 34% of the cost of producing a full season of programming. Each year we must make up the shortfall by soliciting support from the government, our community, and corporate leaders, and individuals such as yourself.
