34th Annual Bob Edwards Award Luncheon George Stroumboulopoulos, Recipient Friday, November 14, 2008 Imperial Ballroom, Hyatt Regency Calgary
Join us for the 34th Annual Bob Edwards Luncheon as we honour this year's recipient George Stroumboulopoulos, a broadcast veteran with over 15 years spent in radio and television, and the host of CBC ’s The Hour; a national current affairs show that dissects the issues within the issues, never shying away from controversy and traversing deftly through the hot button topics of the day. In 2007, George Stroumboulopoulos was awarded an honorary degree -- Doctor of Laws -- from the University of Calgary. He also co-hosts a Sunday night talk radio show, The Strombo Show.
