Pizza Night with Bob
Fun and casual, this event takes place prior to a performance for one night for each play in the Martha Cohen Theatre. While enjoying pizza courtesy of Pizza 73, join Artistic Director Bob White as he chats with a special guest about the Enbridge playRites Festival and answers questions from the audience.

Two star-crossed romantics catch a glimpse of each other on a bus and dream up all the quirky, lovely things in life they want to share. A classic story of boy meets girl, if it weren't for the fact that these two strangers never actually talk to each other. A charming musical about all the things we think but never say and all the things we want to do but never take the chance.

24 Hour Playwriting Competition

For 24 hours, 24 playwrights charge fearlessly into the New Era Technology office to test their endurance by pounding out a new play. The participants thoughts will flow all night to the clamour of furious typing and the smell of adrenaline. This year's coveted prize: a play reading by Calgary's own Downstage Performance Society.
The 24 Hour Playwriting Competition could not be so charming without all of our contributors: Downstage Performance Society, New Era Technology, Pizza 73, McNally Robinson, Prairie Ink and the APN.
22nd Annual Harry & Martha Cohen Award
This award honours an individual or group that has demonstrated a sustained contribution to theatre in Calgary. The recipient(s) will be announced on Saturday February 16th, following a performance of that elusive spark.
Enbridge playRites Awards
Under the auspices of the Enbridge playRites Awardsm Alberta Theatre Projects provides TWO cash awards, ONE to an established Canadian playwright and ONE to an emerging Canadian playwright. The Enbridge playRites Awards are generously underwritten by Enbridge Inc., a Canadian Coporation committed to nurturing the development of new Canadian plays and Canadian playwriting talent in partnership with ATP.
